Job summary

STAR SERVICES LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations in the UAE and ensure accurate financial reporting with strong VAT knowledge.

The ideal candidate will handle journals, AP/AR, reconciliations, monthly reports, and statutory compliance while maintaining organized records and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• UAE VAT knowledge and compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare journal entries, invoices, receipts and payment transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank, customer and supplier reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports.
• Assist with VAT preparation and compliance in UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents and reports.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles UAE VAT regulations and financial documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and post journal entries invoices receipts and payment transactions
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank customer and supplier reconciliations
• Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports
• Monitor income expenses payments and collections
• Prepare and maintain proper supporting documentation for all financial transactions
• Assist with VAT preparation filing and compliance in accordance with UAE regulations
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents and reports
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on pending payments
• Verify supplier invoices and ensure timely processing of payments
• Maintain organized accounting records and ensure confidentiality of financial information
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting when required
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• 2 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• UAE accounting experience is preferred
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and basic tax compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software ERP systems
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience working in the UAE.
• Experience with VAT filing and reconciliation.
• Experience in automotive, trading, logistics, or commercial vehicle businesses is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ERP/accounting systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
