Job summary

ATB foodstuff trading LLC in Dubai seeks an organized Accountant to manage daily financial records and VAT compliance. The role focuses on accurate bookkeeping and supporting reporting.

You will oversee AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and month-end close while coordinating with suppliers, banks and auditors to ensure UAE regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting transactions and records.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare sales and purchase invoices, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Perform bank, cash, supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Maintain petty cash and company expenses.
• Follow up on customer balances and supplier payments.
• Verify invoices and supporting documents before payments.
• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial statements.
• Handle UAE VAT accounting and documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, auditors and other departments.
