Job summary

Peak Group LLC FZ is seeking an Accountant to join its growing UAE team. The candidate will manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients, maintain precise financial records, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Strong UAE VAT and Corporate Tax knowledge is highly valued. The role requires solid accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial records accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in accounting, audit, or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations and accounting principles.
• Practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax is highly preferred.
• Experience handling accounts for multiple clients is advantageous.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for multiple clients.
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer and other account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review VAT calculations, VAT returns and supporting schedules.
• Assist with UAE Corporate Tax computations, returns and related documentation.
• Support year-end closing and preparation of schedules for audit.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain accounting records and documents.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend adjustments.
• Ensure client accounts comply with accounting standards and UAE requirements.
• Monitor deadlines for VAT, Corporate Tax and financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for multiple clients
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports and management accounts
• Perform bank supplier customer and other account reconciliations

• Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend appropriate adjustments or corrective actions
• Ensure client accounts are maintained accurately and in accordance with applicable accounting standards and UAE requirements
• Monitor deadlines for VAT Corporate Tax financial reporting and other client deliverables
• Liaise with auditors clients and relevant stakeholders when required
• Maintain confidentiality of client financial and business information
• Provide accounting and financial guidance to clients where appropriate
• Perform other accounting and advisory tasks assigned by Management
