elite-cas is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will handle financial reporting, bookkeeping, and VAT compliance.
This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and managing payroll and internal controls. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3–5 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, VAT compliance, and financial reporting within the UAE.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
Process supplier payments and ensure timely settlements.
Taxation & Compliance:
Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
Ensure all financial transactions comply with UAE laws and regulations.
Assist in corporate tax compliance and audits.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Manage petty cash and company expenses.
Coordinate with banks for financial transactions and documentation.
Payroll & Employee Benefits:
Process payroll, including WPS salary transfers.
Ensure timely calculation and disbursement of end-of-service benefits (gratuity) as per UAE labor law.
Maintain employee expense claims and reimbursements.
Audit & Internal Controls:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
Experience with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
