Job summary

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) in Dubai is seeking an Account Opening Specialist to process checks for WBG/IBG accounts and maintain CRM workflow. You will verify customer information against documents and advise on discrepancies, while opening internal accounts and supporting ADIB Iraq and UK cases.

The role requires knowledge of banking basics, strong communication, customer service, and proficiency in MS Office. You will ensure KYC/EDD for high-risk regions and escalate gaps as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic banking requirements such as account opening.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Customer service principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office and general PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Process account opening checks for WBG, IBG and related accounts per agreed time standards.
• Maintain CRM workflow and related documentation for account opening in UAE and IBG countries.
• Verify customer information against supporting documents and advise business on discrepancies.
• Open internal accounts such as Map, STI, STO and Vostro accounts.
• Handle account opening cases from ADIB Iraq and ADIB UK.
• Ensure KYC/EDD is obtained for high-risk countries and escalate compliance gaps.
• Perform account reconciliation and escalate long outstanding items.
