Job summary

Tanqeeb in the UAE is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead data center solutions sales. The role focuses on building a defined target account list, generating new business opportunities, and driving a robust UAE pipeline through proactive client engagement.

The ideal candidate has an Electrical Engineering background and 5+ years in enterprise datacenter sales, with knowledge of UPS, cooling, racks, DCIM, and VESDA. In-person interview required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise datacenter sales experience.
• Proficient in consultative selling.
• Existing relationships in the UAE preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting quotas.
• Knowledge of UPS, PDUs, cooling and data center infra.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities: Prospect and manage a sales pipeline of UAE accounts (telco, enterprise, gov, EPC/MEP)

• MEP). Sell datacenter services: power, cooling, physical infrastructure, safety & monitoring solutions Comfortable cold-calling and CRM discipline

• Run full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation, closing, and renewals

• Coordinate with Presales for solution design and with Draftsman for layouts in proposals

• Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM hygiene

• Profile: Over 5 years of experience in enterprise datacenter, colocation, and managed services sales; proficient in consultative selling; existing relationships in the UAE preferred; proven track record of meeting quotas.

Desired Candidate Profile

• We are seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong hunter mindset and experience selling solutions into the data center industry.

• The role will focus on developing a defined list of target accounts, generating new business opportunities, and building a strong sales pipeline through proactive client engagement.

• The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of data center infrastructure products, including power distribution systems, PDUs, UPS systems, cooling solutions, and other critical facility and safety products.

• An Electrical Engineering background is preferred, along with experience working for manufacturers, distributors, or solution providers in the data center, power, or critical infrastructure space, such as Schneider Electric and similar organizations.

• Need candidates specifically from Data Cantre only having detailed understanding of UPS, Cooling, Racks, DCIM, VESDA etc
