ELECTRICAL TEAM LEADER

A manufacturing and engineering company in Vereeniging is seeking a qualified individual for maintenance roles. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, breakdown assistance, and project management. Applicants must hold a Red Seal Electrical Qualification, have at least 5 years of experience, and own reliable transport. Shift work is required along with good communication skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing/engineering/maintenance.
- Own reliable transport and willingness to work shifts.
- Punctuality is essential.
Responsabilités
- Maintenance of equipment and manage upgrade projects.
- Attend to breakdown maintenance as required.
- Manage performance of subordinates.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.

Formation
COST TO COMPANY : R60’000.00 to R62’000.00 p / m
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Electrical Qualification (Red Seal)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the manufacturing / engineering / maintenance environment
- Ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings
- Ability to evaluate work output according to standards and specifications
- Own reliable transport
- Willing to work shifts
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and communication skills
- Punctuality is essential
DUTIES
Main duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of equipment and management of upgrade and installation projects
- Attend to breakdown maintenance as required
- Assist with planning of installation projects and budgets, including commissioning
- Manage the performance of subordinates
- Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance to standards
- Assist with plant changeovers, installations, and upgrades
- Achieve set objectives
- Follow work instructions diligently
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards across the area of responsibility
