Responsibilities
- Produce 2D drawings for process and mechanical equipment.
- Create block flow diagrams for projects.
- Utilize CAD programs for accurate 3D models.

- Produce 2D drawings in accordance with design specifications for process and mechanical equipment and components, to aid in planning and production processes.
- Create block flow diagrams for projects.
- Utilize CAD programs to merge schematics and design data into precise 3D models.
- Review design documents and plans to verify dimensions and materials, collaborating with engineers to resolve any discrepancies.
- Design pumpstation layouts using established company standards.
- Provide technical assistance to Applications Engineering, Sales, Service, and customers as needed.
- Compile customer sign-off, general arrangements and manufacturing drawings.
- Continuous Development on company CAD library.
- Formulate standard operating procedures.
- Generate renderings for inclusion in product brochures and project tenders.
- National diploma, BTech or BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Sound understanding of water supply industry is beneficial.
- Exceptional technical communication skills with engineers and manufacturing personnel.
- Keen attention to detail and strong mathematical abilities.
- Ability to adhere to standardized drawing procedures accurately.
- Capable of working within deadlines.
- Strong computer skills; must be proficient with Excel; Microsoft Office preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Collaborate with the US-based team.
- Effective technical problem resolution.
