Overview

Warrington (WA3), Bristol (BS20), Leicester (LE1), Newbury (RG14), Preston (PR1) – Hybrid working available. Permanent role.

One of our key clients has an urgent requirement for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be based at their offices in Warrington on a permanent basis, with hybrid working available. This is a great opportunity to join a specialist engineering company with a global reach, working on a range of large and diverse projects across the Nuclear, Defence, Power and Energy sectors.

Responsibilities

As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in the full nuclear life cycle across Nuclear Defence and Civil Nuclear projects. You will assist in the effective management of the customer to aid in the development and resolution of technical and delivery issues. You will ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities. You will maintain the engineering configuration, ensuring the overall design intent and integrity is maintained throughout the design lifecycle. You will provide support to the Project Manager for planning, coordination and delivery of tasks and projects.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Nuclear experience is not a necessity; we welcome applications from all engineering backgrounds.
