  • Represent the business during external audits and inspections.

  • Lead SHEQ planning and resourcing for tenders and project kick-off phases within the designated dept
  • Track and ensure close-out of non-conformances, near misses, and audit findings, maintaining a live corrective action register.
  • Engage directly with clients, contractors, and authorities on SHEQ compliance matters, representing the company in inspections and reviews.
  • Monitor contractor compliance and performance, including evaluating safety files and competencies before site mobilisation.
  • Contribute to SHEQ performance reporting for Exco or Board-level dashboards, including leading indicators, risk trends, and interventions.
  • Drive cross-site learning and best practice sharing, helping build a proactive SHEQ culture across teams.

  • Issue of Job set up verification and inspection sheets to production ensuring these are correct and updated when necessary
  • Responsible for doing and signing off verification after every set up (Change Over) and verification
  • Responsible for performing daily checks/verifications on all parts being produced.
  • Ensure quality systems are being maintained on Shop Floors
Gauge control:
  • Issue, maintain and control all gauges i.e verification and calibration intervals using Gage Pack
  • Design gauges for production ensuring best gauge for application.
  • Responsible for obtaining quotes from supplier for all tooling & gauges
Audits:
  • Support audits of all manufacturing processes including the supporting processes according to the audit schedules, within the plant as per the ISO and IATF requirements.
  • Ensure that all audit findings, including the root causes and ICA / permanent actions implemented are distributed to the relevant Managers and or Supervisors.
  • Create and monitor action plans to ensure all ICA / permanent corrective actions from audit findings are closed off.
  • Assist Quality Team with PPAP, FMEA, APQP, MSA, SPC, CSR, Control Plan

  • Provide technical support to the sales department on new products

  • Able to interpret engineering drawings, assist machine-shops and fabricators with machine-setup & interpretation of drawings
  • Work together with the Quality department to interpret drawings and identify/resolve Non-Conformances
  • Responsible to ensure adherence to ISO quality standards and procedures of record keeping and maintenance of drawing register, traceability, Drawing Revision Management
  • The candidate shall ensure that the machine shops are updated with new drawing revision numbers, that the company records (vault files) are updated with new drawing revision numbers and that Bluebox (ERP System) (BOM’s) are updated with new drawing revision numbers
  • Participate in design meetings with Technical sales, QA & the planning department
  • Technical handovers, internally and externally
  • Analyse the full scope of supply, bills of materials and other project documentation
  • Evaluate machine-shop and fabricator abilities and capacities, and provide feedback to procurement to improve lead times, cost management and quality
  • Liaises with customers and suppliers as required
