The Tax Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive tax strategies aligned with the organization's global operations.

1. Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute tax planning strategies tailored to the group tax environment, including cross-border transactions and international tax standards.
2. Legal and Structural Optimization: Assess and optimize the organization's legal structure worldwide for tax efficiency.
3. Tax Rate Management and Financial Modelling: Analyze and optimize the Effective Tax Rate (ETR) using financial modelling and forecasting tools.
4. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to international tax laws, prepare necessary documentation, and maintain accurate records for all tax-related transactions.
5. Tax Filing and Payments: Track and ensure timely filing of tax returns and payments, including withholding taxes, in compliance with local laws.
6. Risk and Audit Management: Conduct risk assessments, respond to tax audits and inquiries, and manage disputes with tax authorities.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration and Training: Work closely with finance, legal, and operations teams to align tax strategies with business goals and provide training on tax compliance.
8. Monitoring and Updating: Stay informed about changes in tax legislation across regions and adjust strategies accordingly.
9. Vendor and Supplier Compliance: Verify tax compliance of vendors and suppliers and maintain positive relationships with tax authorities.
