- Set up and operate sound equipment for all onboard events and performances, including live music shows, theater productions, and presentations.
- Conduct sound checks and troubleshoot any technical issues to ensure the best possible sound quality.
- Collaborate with performers and other crew members to ensure all sound requirements are met.
- Maintain and repair sound equipment as needed.
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies when necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating sound equipment.
- Train and supervise other crew members on sound equipment operation.
- Assist with other technical duties as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sound Technician, preferably in a live entertainment setting.
- Extensive knowledge of sound equipment and its operation.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
