Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst with at least 5 years of experience in a Business Analysis role, including a minimum of 3 years within the financial services industry, such as long-term insurance, investments, wealth management, healthcare administration, or employee benefits. Technical skills are an added advantage.
Position Details
Pre-Sales Analysis / Product Support
- Collaborate with the Delivery Manager and Client to gather comprehensive product roadmap and backlog requirements.
- Work with the Project Manager to analyze client requirements, scope, and effort for commercial engagement.
- Contribute to modeling activities, including providing input to business cases.
- Conduct product demonstrations and support sales efforts.
Business Requirements Analysis
- Engage with stakeholders to understand objectives and clarify needs or opportunities.
- Perform stakeholder and competitor analyses.
- Review, validate, and develop user stories based on requirements.
- Apply relevant data analysis techniques across business, software, or information levels.
- Facilitate sessions and workshops to gather process and requirement information.
- Work with stakeholders and developers to elicit functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed specifications for architects, developers, and testers.
- Participate in scope planning and prioritization.
- Map requirements to existing system functionality and identify gaps.
- Analyze and redesign business processes, including data flows.
- Prepare user stories and prototypes for new services and enhancements.
- Identify constraints and collaborate on designing optimal solutions within these constraints.
- Create functional requirement specifications and manage them with traceability matrices.
Development
- Translate business requirements into specifications for development teams.
- Maintain feature documentation for UAT and production.
Internal & User Acceptance Testing
- Assist in translating requirements into test scenarios and reviewing test plans.
- Validate that delivered functionalities meet requirements.
- Support defect resolution and test result validation.
- Help clients develop UAT test plans and provide sign-off after delivery.
Transition to Support
- Develop training materials and deliver training sessions.
- Assist in reviewing or developing user guides.
Post-Implementation Review
- Participate in post-implementation review sessions.
Business Analysis Competence Role
- Develop and manage analysis methodologies, templates, and standards, providing leadership to the team.
