Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Youth Engagement Coordinator to lead after-school programs in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will plan, implement, and evaluate activities that foster personal development, social skills, and academic support for youth aged 8–16, while collaborating with local schools and community centres.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, safeguarding awareness, and the ability to manage volunteers and budgets to deliver meaningful impact in the community.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging after-school activities.
• Experience coordinating volunteers and staff.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and implement after-school activities for ages 8–16.
• Recruit, train, and supervise facilitators and volunteers.
• Build relationships with schools, community centres, and families in Tembisa.
