Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Youth Development Facilitator in George, Western Cape, to design and implement empowering programs for youth aged 13–18. The role focuses on personal growth, skills development, and positive social engagement within a supportive environment.

You will mentor participants, collaborate with schools and local stakeholders, and monitor outcomes to ensure impactful, sustainable change in the George community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in social or developmental field
• 3+ years in youth work, facilitation, or program management
• Strong curriculum development and workshop delivery experience

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging youth workshops for ages 13–18
• Lead discussions on life skills, career guidance, mental health, and civic engagement
• Provide one-on-one mentorship and participant support
• Build relationships with schools, community partners, and parents
• Monitor program effectiveness and collect feedback for improvements
• Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and budgeting for programs
