The role requires at least 4 years' direct experience with children, 1–2 years in supervision, and a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 4 years of direct work with children and youth in care settings.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Thorough knowledge of child protection legislation and residential childcare practices.
• First Aid and CPR certification mandatory.

• Supervise and mentor a team of Child and Youth Care Workers, ensuring adherence to standards and policies.

• Develop and implement therapeutic and developmental activities.

• Manage staff schedules, performance reviews, and resolve issues.
• Keep accurate resident records and care plans in compliance with reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and external agencies to support residents.
• Lead regular case conferences and staff meetings; respond calmly to emergencies.
