Qualifications

• 2+ years in wireless installation and support.
• Familiar with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards.
• Experience with site survey tools and spectrum analysis.
• Knowledge of RF principles and signal propagation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Wireless Network Technician to join their operations team in Paarl . This role is essential for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of wireless communication systems, including Wi-Fi networks, cellular infrastructure, and point-to-point links. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, coverage, and security of wireless solutions deployed for our clients. This hands-on position is ideal for a technician passionate about wireless technology and dedicated to delivering reliable connectivity in the Western Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission wireless network hardware, including access points, controllers, and antennas.
• Perform site surveys to determine optimal placement for wireless equipment and troubleshoot coverage issues.
• Monitor wireless network performance and troubleshoot connectivity problems, ensuring high availability.
• Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades on wireless infrastructure.

Requirements
