Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, and configure wireless network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi access points, controllers, and related hardware.
• Perform site surveys, network assessments, and capacity planning for optimal wireless coverage and performance in Durban.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex wireless network issues, including interference, connectivity, and performance problems.
• Implement and maintain wireless security protocols (e.g., WPA3, RADIUS) to protect network assets.
• Stay current with emerging wireless technologies and standards, recommending and integrating new solutions.
• Collaborate with network and system teams to ensure seamless integration of wireless solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in wireless network design, deployment, and management.
• Strong understanding of Wi-Fi standards (802.11ac/ax), RF principles, and wireless security best practices.
