Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proficient Wireless Network Specialist in Paarl to design, implement and maintain our wireless infrastructure across sites. You will manage Wi‑Fi, cellular and related networks, ensuring secure and high-performing connectivity for all users.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of wireless network experience, deep knowledge of 802.11 standards, and relevant CWNA/CWNP/CCNA Wireless certifications. This role offers on-site work with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of wireless network design, implementation, and support.
Strong knowledge of Wi‑Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF, and security protocols.

Responsibilities

Design, install, configure, and maintain wireless network infrastructure including APs and controllers.
Monitor wireless performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability.
Implement and manage wireless security protocols (WPA2/3, RADIUS).
Troubleshoot complex wireless connectivity for users and systems.
Stay current with emerging wireless technologies and propose improvements.
