Job summary

Badsberg Wine Cellar in the Breedekloof region is seeking a dedicated Cellar Assistant to support winemakers with sample prep, loading of local and export bulk wine, and completing loading documentation.

You'll assist with general cellar operations, deliveries, maintenance, and wine tastings, and work as part of the Health and Safety team during harvest under the supervision of the Winemaker. A can-do attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is a minimum requirement.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a cellar environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
• Passion for wine production processes.
• Good physical condition and ability to work flexible hours during harvest.
• Previous cellar or harvest experience is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Winemakers with preparation of wine samples and loading bulk wine.
• Complete all relevant loading documentation for local and export wine.
• Support general cellar operations, deliveries and maintenance.
• Participate in wine tastings and health and safety duties during harvest.
