Qualifications

• NQF 7+ qualification recognised by SAQA; SMS pre-entry is required before appointment.
• Minimum 5 years of middle/senior management experience.
• Must complete Nyukela SMS pre-entry programme prior to appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic line management and guidance across Families and Children Programmes and related units.
• Drive Directorate strategy, planning, and performance against objectives.
• Lead recruitment, staff development, and labour relations within the directorate.
• Oversee budgeting, procurement, contracts, and asset management.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and records management; promote innovation.
