Virgin Active South Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic sales-focused member to convert conversations into memberships and drive revenue at our Gauteng clubs. You will manage the full sales journey from initial contact to close, while maintaining an outstanding guest experience.

This role requires a Matric qualification plus 1–2 years in a similar sales environment, strong communication, and the ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Formal Matric qualification (essential)
• 1-2 years of successful sales experience within similar industry
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills
• Digital acumen with practical Microsoft Suite experience
• Proven experience delivering premium service standards
• Able to work roster including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Ambassador for holistic wellness
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player and rapport builder
• Confident engaging with people quickly

Responsabilités

• Turn conversations into memberships using structured, value-led selling techniques
• Apply end-to-end sales process to maximise conversion
• Recommend best membership options based on goals and lifestyle
• Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
• Maintain strong conversion ratios across leads, appointments, tours and sales
• Generate leads through walk-ins, referrals, outreach and local activations
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and track all leads
• Follow up promptly via calls, WhatsApp and email
• Nurture prospects to drive conversions and referrals
• Deliver a high-energy, professional customer experience at every touchpoint
• Collaborate with Sales Managers, Experience teams and Personal Trainers to maximise opportunities
• Support club performance and Net Member Movement
• Share best practices and participate in training and coaching sessions
