The role requires coordinating enquiries, site visits, quotes, contracts and deposits, while ensuring flawless execution and strong relationships with suppliers, delivering a superior luxury experience.

A respected luxury hotel and spa in KZN is looking for an experienced Wedding & Events Coordinator to lead its weddings and events offering. You will be the face of the venue for couples and clients, guiding them from the first enquiry to the final detail on the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage wedding and event enquiries, host site visits and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings

• Guide couples and clients through the planning process with warmth and professionalism

• Prepare quotes, proposals and contracts, and manage deposits and payment schedules

• Coordinate all event details with internal teams and trusted suppliers

• Oversee events on the day and make sure every detail is delivered to a high standard

• Grow the venue's wedding and events business through sales initiatives and supplier relationships

About You

• Proven experience in weddings and events coordination, ideally within a luxury hotel, lodge or high-end venue

• A strong sales ability and a track record of securing bookings

• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and a calm, solutions-focused approach

• A polished, gracious communication style

• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as events require

• Own reliable transport, as staff accommodation is not provided

• A hospitality, events or tourism qualification is advantageous
