Job summary

Headhunt is seeking an External Sales Consultant / Rep to join our client’s team based in Port Elizabeth. The role requires a proactive sales professional who can generate new business and manage client relationships in the waste management and environmental services sector.

Reporting to management, you will conduct cold calls, develop revenue in allocated markets, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Matric / Senior Certificate is essential.
• An advantage is a tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing.
• Minimum 3 years' sales experience is advantageous.
• Experience in waste management or environmental services is preferred.
• Proven track record in meeting sales targets.
• High level client relationship management skills.
• Valid EB driver's licence is essential.
• Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cold calls to generate new business and meet targets.
• Develop new business and grow revenue within allocated markets.
• Maintain regular contact with existing clients through calls and visits.
• Build and maintain professional client relationships.
• Prepare and submit quotations and proposals as required.
• Coordinate with sales, administration, logistics, fleet and disposal-site teams to ensure service delivery.
• Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for improved service and sales.
