Job summary

Headhunters in South Africa seeks an accomplished Sales Professional to grow revenue in the waste management sector. You will develop new business, maintain client relationships, and drive service delivery across allocated markets.

The ideal candidate has Matric, a relevant tertiary qualification, robust cold-calling ability, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets while working independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Matric/ Senior Certificate is essential.
• Tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years’ sales experience advantageous.
• Experience in waste management or a similar industry preferred.
• Proven track record in a sales environment.
• Strong business development and cold-calling abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid EB driver’s licence essential.
• Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cold calls to meet targets.
• Develop new business and grow revenue within markets.
• Maintain regular contact with existing clients via calls.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct market research and surveys with clients.
• Monitor, record, and assist with resolving client complaints.
• Coordinate communication with clients on service matters.
• Prepare and submit quotations and proposals as required.
• Ensure price lists provided to clients are approved.
• Provide service-related reports to key clients and submit monthly reports.
• Visit A- and B-grade clients as agreed with management.
• Monitor client satisfaction and seek opportunities to improve service and sales.
• Collaborate with sales, administration, logistics, fleet, and disposal-site teams.
