About the Role

Our client, a key player in the Logistics & Warehousing industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join their team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse, supporting the management team in coordinating various operational activities. You will be involved in managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures. The ideal candidate is proactive, possesses strong organizational skills, and has a foundational understanding of warehouse processes. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination of daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
• Prepare and process necessary shipping documentation.
• Ensure that warehouse operations adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor warehouse supplies and assist in maintaining adequate stock levels.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding order status and inventory.
• Support the Warehouse Manager and Supervisors in implementing operational improvements.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse premises.
• Operate warehouse equipment as required and ensure its proper maintenance.

Requirements

• Previous experience (2+ years) in a warehouse or logistics support role is essential.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain is an advantage.
