Job summary

Placements24 in Stellenbosch is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead our client’s warehouse team. You will oversee daily activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure efficiency, accuracy and safety.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a supervisory role, strong WMS knowledge, inventory control, and excellent leadership and communication skills. Forklift operation is a plus.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead their team in Stellenbosch . You will oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. This position requires strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and processes, contributing to a seamless flow of goods and materials for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff on a daily basis.
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurately processed and documented.
• Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes to maintain accuracy.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to the warehouse team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain best practices.
