About the Role Our client, a leader in the Logistics & Warehousing sector, is seeking an analytical and results-driven Warehouse Operations Analyst to support their operations in Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This hybrid role is designed for an individual with a strong aptitude for data analysis and process improvement, who can translate complex data into actionable insights. You will play a crucial role in monitoring operational performance, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation within the warehouse. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data from various warehouse systems to identify trends and performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, accuracy, labor efficiency, and inventory turns.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing data‑driven solutions for improvement.
• Support the development and implementation of new processes, systems, and technologies within the warehouse.
• Conduct cost‑benefit analyses for proposed operational changes and initiatives.
• Assist in forecasting operational needs, including labor, equipment, and space requirements.
• Collaborate with warehouse management and operational teams to implement improvement plans.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Operations Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the Logistics & Warehousing industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and understanding of warehouse operational workflows.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a logical, data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote analytical tasks with on‑site collaboration in Stellenbosch, Western Cape .
