Placements24 is seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our client’s logistics team. The role is remote, supporting the Mossel Bay facility, and focuses on improving warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, and cost-effective workflows.

You will analyze data, develop SOPs for receiving, put-away, picking, packing and shipping, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with on-site staff to drive operational excellence from afar.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or a similar role, with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
• Experience in developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote and on-site teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with WMS software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse environments.
