Placements24 is seeking a Warehouse & Distribution Manager to lead the Richards Bay hub in KwaZulu-Natal. You will manage day-to-day warehouse operations, optimize storage, and ensure accurate inventory and timely dispatch of goods.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in logistics or related field, at least 5 years in warehouse management, and strong leadership with knowledge of WMS and safety regulations. On-site role with opportunity for development.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Oversee inventory control with cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Design efficient layouts and workflows to maximize space and efficiency.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
• Implement SOPs for all warehouse activities.
• Manage relationships with 3PLs and transport companies.
• Monitor KPIs: order accuracy, on-time shipment, and inventory turnover.
