Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Warehouse Team Lead for the Richards Bay facility in KwaZulu-Natal. You will supervise a team of warehouse operatives, oversee receiving, storage, picking and dispatch, and drive productivity in a high-volume environment.

The role requires proven leadership, strong warehouse process knowledge, and a commitment to safety. You will conduct toolbox talks, train new staff, monitor stock levels, and report to the Warehouse Manager while contributing to process improvements

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Team Lead or supervisor in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a team of warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure the efficient and safe receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety.

• Address and resolve operational issues and conflicts within the team.
