3L Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Administration Manager to lead the branch’s administrative functions within a busy warehousing and logistics environment. The role requires close collaboration with depot and operational management to ensure controls, reporting and inventory accuracy.
The successful candidate will drive process discipline, staff administration and performance of the admin team, while maintaining compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Location: Richmond Park, Cape Town
Package: R35,000 to R45,000 Total Cost to Company (TCTC) per month (Salary + Benefits)
Reporting To:Logistics / Depot Manager
The purpose of this position is to ensure the effective co-ordination and management of all administrative functions within the branch.
This is a key operational support role within the depot and requires someone who understands the administrative demands of a warehousing, distribution and logistics environment. The successful candidate will work closely with operational management and will play an important role in ensuring that administrative processes, controls, inventory administration, staff administration and reporting are effectively managed.
Budget and PF
Ensure budget and PF reporting is accurate, completed on time, and supported by quality analysis to improve profitability.
Provide quality analysis and information that supports improved profitability.
Operational Administration
Manage and support the closure of claims.
Ensure effective management of administrative processes.
Manage imports-related administration.
Ensure daily operational statistics are completed and maintained.
Manage Proof of Delivery (POD) administration.
Inventory Control
Plan and execute monthly stock takes.
Control and monitor daily cycle counts.
Analyse cycle-count results to proactively identify potential risk areas or products.
Manage CHEP and other pallets.
Manage rejected stock administration.
Staff Administration
Manage time and attendance and ensure the required submissions are made to Head Office.
Manage employee leave administration.
Manage shift patterns and control overtime.
Control the issue and administration of PPE.
Ensure administration teams adhere to required Standard Operating Procedures.
Manage the performance of team members.
Depot Administration
Manage petty cash.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of weekly WBR (Weekly Business Review) information.
Monitor and control costs against budget.
Ensure SOPs remain current and are consistently enforced.
Ensure all required food-safety, regulatory and operational compliance documentation, including YUM and DAFF requirements, is current and appropriately maintained.
Staff Training, Development and Leadership
Coach, guide and support team members to achieve high standards of performance.
Provide appropriate coaching and support to underperforming employees.
Ensure adherence to required disciplinary processes.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced warehouse or logistics administration professional who is comfortable working in a fast-moving operational environment and understands how strong administrative controls support effective warehousing and distribution operations.
You should be highly detail-oriented, organised and confident working with operational data, inventory controls, staff administration, reporting and compliance requirements. You will also need to be comfortable leading and managing an administration team while working closely with depot and operational management.
This role will suit someone who combines strong administrative discipline with a practical understanding of warehouse, distribution and logistics operations.

Computer literacy, including:
Microsoft Office Suite
Sage X3
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Grade 12.
Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a similar role.
Demonstrable industry knowledge.
Given the operational nature of the role, candidates should have a good understanding of warehousing, distribution and logistics operations.
