Job summary

West Coast Personnel is seeking a hands-on specialist to handle customer and administrative support and warehouse duties in Milnerton, Western Cape. You will assist customers and distributors with account and payment inquiries, verify data, process orders and support month-end tasks, while also handling stock checks and dispatches.

The ideal candidate has Grade 12, strong English communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment, with forklift lic. advantageous.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Two years’ administrative or customer support experience.
• Warehouse or stock-handling experience would be advantageous.
• Good written and spoken English; strong customer service, communication and organizational skills.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Able to multitask, work accurately under pressure and perform physical warehouse duties.
• Physically able to lift boxes and work at heights up to 12 meters.
• Dependable, punctual and flexible regarding occasional extended hours.
• A relevant tertiary qualification or forklift license would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and distributors with account, payment, order and product enquiries; verify and update customer, banking and account information; investigate order discrepancies; maintain query logs, records and system information; process orders, transfers and commission-related information; assist with month-end administration and liaise with internal departments.
• Receive, pick, pack, check and dispatch stock; assist with loading, off-loading and preparing deliveries; participate in stock takes, cycle counts and FIFO stock rotation; maintain accurate stock counts and a clean, organized warehouse; comply with health and safety requirements; assist across warehouse functions and work at heights when required.
• Other warehouse duties as needed and support across functions to ensure smooth operation.
