Job summary

InvisionHR is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations in Stikland, Cape Town. You will handle receiving, picking, packing and shipping, while maintaining accurate inventory records and proper documentation.

The role requires at least 2 years in a similar position, with Grade 12 / Matric, and the ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks. On-site work with a structured schedule and a market-related salary is offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Experience with inventory management.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Pick and fill orders from stock.
• Pack and ship orders.
• Ensure packed and shipped orders are loaded and secured for their delivery.
• Hand over (load) orders for clients at the dispatch area.
• Ensure paperwork related to orders & dispatch is always correct.
• Organise and maintain inventory and storage areas.
• Operate warehouse equipment where needed, including forklifts and stackers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Work with and support warehouse staff for daily operation of the warehouse.
• Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
• Assist with inventory management and control.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and inventory levels.
• Develop and maintain a warehouse cleaning checklist.

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to assist with daily operations of the warehouse, receiving and processing of incoming stock, picking and filing orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and assisting with maintaining inventory records.

• Location: Stikland, Cape Town
• Model: Full-Time (On-site)
• Schedule: Monday to Thursday (08:00 - 16:30), & Friday (08:00 - 16:00).
