Job summary

Exceed HR and Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for Blackheath, Cape Town, to lead daily warehouse and stores operations in a manufacturing environment.

You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, kitting and issuing materials, manage inventory records, cycle counts and safety standards, and mentor the warehouse team to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Valid forklift licence where applicable.
• Warehouse experience in manufacturing.
• Team-leading or supervisory experience.
• Experience in receiving, stock control, picking, cycle counting, and warehouse safety.
• ERP experience; SYSPRO advantageous.
• Ability to read mechanical and structural drawings.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Good numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal English communication.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and manage warehouse staff and allocate daily workloads.
• Monitor warehouse performance, shortages, supplier delays and operational issues.
• Ensure accurate and timely ERP/SYSPRO transactions.
