Job Description

We are looking for a Waiter to provide excellent service to ensure great customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.

Main responsibilities:

• Greet guests at assigned tables and ensure each guest has received a menu and wine list
• Know all menu items, including the basic ingredients and methods of preparation
• Ensure tables are properly set with linens, silverware and glasses
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and deliver within specified time limits
• Ensure all orders are received timeously by the bar and kitchen staff
• Clear all dirty cutlery and crockery from tables once guests have finished using them
• Offer desserts and coffee to guests
• Bill guests correctly
• Ensure the restaurant area, fixtures and fittings are clean and hygienic
• Ensure that your uniform is clean at all times
