Placements24 is seeking an experienced Volunteer Coordinator & Engagement Lead to recruit, train and manage volunteers for programs serving the Tembisa community in Gauteng. You will lead engagement initiatives, coordinate training, and ensure a positive volunteer experience that aligns with the organization’s mission.

Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, a track record of successful volunteer management, and a willingness to commute to Tembisa daily to oversee

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in volunteer management, HR, or program coordination.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement strategies for volunteer recruitment across channels to attract diverse and skilled individuals.
• Oversee the entire volunteer lifecycle, including screening, onboarding, training, and ongoing support.
• Design and deliver engaging volunteer training programs tailored to program needs.
• Manage volunteer schedules and assignments to ensure adequate coverage.
• Foster a positive environment for volunteers, recognizing contributions and addressing concerns.
