OpsArmy Careers is seeking an experienced US Tax Preparation & Review Specialist (CPA/EA preferred) to provide Level 2 support for complex US tax, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. Strong technical tax knowledge and client-facing communication are essential.

You will investigate questions, explain concepts clearly to clients, and work independently while coordinating with internal specialists. This is a remote role aligned with US business hours.

Competenze

• Hands-on knowledge of US individual and small business taxation.
• Experience with Form 1040/Schedule C and Form 1120-S.
• Knowledge of quarterly estimated taxes and S corporation compensation.
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients.

Mansioni

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US tax, accounting, payroll inquiries.
• Investigate escalated tickets and resolve accounting/tax issues.
• Review bookkeeping discrepancies and account reconciliations.
• Assist with Form 1040, Schedule C, Form 1120-S questions and payments.
• Communicate findings clearly via Zendesk, email, and phone.
• Explain tax concepts and next steps to clients in accessible terms.
• Investigate unfamiliar scenarios, research guidance, and justify solutions.
• Coordinate with internal specialists when escalation is needed.
• Document resolutions and maintain client records.
• Identify recurring issues to improve workflows.
