OpsArmy is seeking an experienced US Tax Accountant (CPA or EA preferred) to join our team in delivering expert Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. The role requires solid accounting judgment and the ability to investigate and resolve challenging issues.

You will cover US business hours, work with Zendesk, and communicate technical findings clearly. Prefer candidates with CPA/EA credentials, Big Four background, and proficiency in QuickBooks and

Competenze

• Experience in US accounting and taxation.
• Bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling complex tax inquiries and notices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to explain complex topics to nontechnical customers.

Mansioni

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot discrepancies, reconciliations, and transactions.
• Assist with tax-related inquiries and notices.
• Support payroll questions and processing issues.
• Communicate findings via Zendesk, email, and scheduled phone support.
• Independently investigate issues and coordinate with internal specialists.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and improve workflows and knowledge resources.
