Job summary

Sandvik Mining is seeking a maintenance-focused supervisor to support the Performance Contract Manager. You will oversee maintenance planning, safety, and cost control while ensuring operations stay profitable and compliant in underground environments.

Applicants should have Grade 12/N3, a relevant trade certificate, 5 years' maintenance experience and 3 years' supervisory exposure, including inventory control; trackless mining experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / N3 or equivalent.
• Relevant trade certificate with POE.
• 5 years maintenance experience.
• 3 years supervisory experience.
• Inventory control experience.
• Trackless mining experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address risks with client and Contract Manager.
• Identify outstanding work.
• Enforce Maintenance Schedule and Preventative maintenance.
• Performance agreements and appraisals for subordinates.
• Comply with SHEQ management system and set Objectives and Targets.
