Job summary

A reputable recruitment firm is seeking a UC Field Service Technician in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing remote support, scheduling site visits, and performing installations. A minimum of 2-4 years of audio-visual experience is required, along with strong knowledge of Crestron and Extron programming. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle. This role offers opportunities to work on diverse projects within client's Service Level Agreements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-4 years audio visual experience.
• Basic room control experience.
• Audio experience including basic DSP programming.
• Video routing and switching experience.
• Video Conferencing endpoint experience – Polycom, Avaya.

Responsibilities

• Responding to calls logged by clients.
• Providing remote/telephonic support.
• Scheduling site visits within client's Service Level Agreement.
• Resolving issues to meet SLA repair times.
• Comprehensive knowledge of wiring and cable termination.
• Installing and configuring AV equipment.
