Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2-4 years of Audio-Visual experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support and installation of Audio-Visual equipment.
• Provide remote/telephonic support and advanced fault-finding.
• Manage a UC installation team and communicate with the Technical Coordinator.
• Installation of cabling and determining cable runs.
• Terminating all Audio-Visual cabling according to best practice standards.
• Video Conferencing and Audio-Visual Equipment Configuration.
• Liaising with suppliers and senior staff to resolve issues.
• Complete site audit reports and job-reporting after project completion.
• Feedback to Technical Coordinator regarding job progress.
• Ensure proper documentation is kept - site sign-off and delivery notes.

Our client in the Telecommunications industry is looking for an UC/AV Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Support of Audio-Visual equipment
• Providing remote/telephonic support
• Advanced fault-finding
• Must be able to work independently and alone on‑site support
• Preparing equipment, cabling and consumables for installations according to the solution required
• Preparing properly before attending to a site
• Installation of Audio-Visual equipment
• Installation of cabling and determining cable runs
• Termination of all Audio-Visual cabling according to best practice standards
• Video Conferencing and Audio-Visual Equipment Configuration
• Mounting of Audio-Visual equipment on any surface required
• Neatening and labelling racks
• Implementing solutions according to technical schematics
• Adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Keeping an installation site neat and clean
• Comprehensive knowledge of proper tool usage and tool management
• Manage and take responsibility for Equipment (laptop etc.)
• Managing a UC installation team daily and within the field or on site
• Liaising with suppliers and senior staff to resolve issues
• Must be available to work overtime when required
• Must be available to travel for installations when required
• Completing training when required
• Important to complete site audit reports and job-reporting after project completion
• Feedback to Technical Coordinator regarding job progress (must always be available and continuous communication with the Technical Coordinator is important)
• Ensure that the proper documentation is kept - site sign‑off, delivery notes etc. and saved in the relevant folders on the server.
