Placements24 is seeking a Transportation Engineer to contribute to planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure in the Nelspruit region. You will develop efficient and safe networks, working with multidisciplinary teams and authorities to meet community mobility needs.

You will analyze traffic data, design road layouts, and prepare planning reports, with opportunities to influence regional projects and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Transportation.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation planning and design.
• Proficiency with traffic analysis tools such as VISSIM and SIDRA INTERSECTION.
• Knowledge of road design principles and highway geometric standards.
• Familiarity with South African transport policies and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Conduct traffic studies, analyze transportation data, and develop traffic models.
• Design road alignments, intersection layouts, and traffic control systems.
• Prepare transportation planning reports, feasibility studies, and environmental assessments.
• Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and government agencies on transportation projects.
• Ensure designs comply with national transportation standards and safety regulations.
• Manage project elements from conception through to construction support.
