Placements24 is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with a focus on Transportation and Road Design to join the Mossel Bay team. You will contribute to the development and improvement of regional transportation networks through all phases of road design projects, from planning to construction supervision.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Professional registration with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation engineering and road design.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop road alignments, cross-sections, and intersection layouts for new roads and upgrades.
- Conduct traffic analysis and capacity studies to inform road design decisions and traffic management plans.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documentation for road projects.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant national and provincial road design standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines on integrated projects.
- Perform geometric design checks and quality assurance on design deliverables.
