Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a Chef de Partie for Wellington College. You will join a talented culinary team delivering high‑quality food across the school’s catering operation, including daily services and special events.

The role offers day-to-day catering with some weekend work, matching a 40-hour week during term time. You will work with fresh ingredients and contribute to refined hospitality menus alongside the Executive Head Chef.

Qualifications

• Chef de Partie or in a similar professional kitchen role
• Experience in hospitality, events or high‑quality food service
• Passion for fresh, high‑quality food
• Attention to detail in presentation
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergen requirements
• Team player and follow directions
• Basic Food Hygiene certificates
• Experience in fine dining or high‑volume catering
• Experience with VIP or corporate events
• Experience with plated service and canapés

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality food to agreed standards
• Assist with menu preparation and food production across daily catering and hospitality services
• Work closely with the Executive Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth services
• Prepare food for a range of events, ensuring quality, consistency and presentation are maintained
• Support and work with other kitchen staff to deliver hospitality events and VIP occasions
