You will work with premium ingredients, collaborate with senior chefs, and contribute to sophisticated dining experiences. Flex hours including evenings and weekends are required in a high-achievement environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in fine dining or high-end catering.
• Strong understanding of classical and contemporary culinary techniques.
• Exceptional knife skills and attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high standards during busy service periods in Randburg, Gauteng.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for food and a commitment to culinary excellence.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Culinary qualification from a recognized institution is an advantage.
• Must be capable of handling physical demands of a busy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes within your designated section, adhering to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation for all dishes served.
• Maintain impeccable hygiene and sanitation standards in your work area and throughout the kitchen.
• Manage inventory and stock rotation for your section, minimizing waste and ensuring freshness of ingredients.
• Collaborate effectively with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and other Chefs de Partie to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
• Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants in your section.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within the kitchen brigade.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, maintained, and used safely and correctly.
• Understand and comply with all food safety and health regulations.
