Job summary

Wellington College, supported by Sodexo, seeks an exceptional Head Chef to lead a high-volume culinary operation for thousands of meals daily. You will translate premium hospitality standards into large-scale production while maintaining quality, flavour and creativity across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.

You’ll manage a four-Shift Leaders brigade and 15+ culinary colleagues, set menus, control costs, uphold food safety and drive continuous improvement in a prestigious education catering

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Head Chef or senior culinary leader in high-volume kitchens.
• Experience in premium education catering or large-scale operations is a plus.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and cost-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Culinary direction and menu development for large-scale service.
• Lead and develop kitchen teams to deliver consistent quality.
• Manage food costs, procurement and stock to maximise value.
• Ensure food safety, allergen handling and HACCP standards.
