Job summary

Growth Resourcing is seeking a Telecoms Technical Support Specialist to deliver high-quality support across voice, data, and connectivity solutions. You will diagnose faults, resolve issues, and ensure customers receive reliable service while maintaining records of incidents and resolutions.

The role requires experience in telecoms support, knowledge of VoIP/SIP, and strong networking fundamentals. You will work with routers, IP phones, and telecoms hardware in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Telecoms Support, Service Desk, or Technical Support role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of telecoms technologies including VoIP, SIP, hosted telephony, broadband, and mobile services.
• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and general connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with routers, switches, IP phones, and telecoms hardware.
• Familiarity with ticketing or service management systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line and technical support for telecoms products and services via telephone, email, and remote tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve voice, broadband, hosted telephony, VoIP, SIP, mobile, and data connectivity issues.
• Log, update, and manage support tickets in line with SLA targets.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers, carriers, or third parties as needed.
• Assist customers with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of telecoms equipment.
• Handle provisioning, adds, moves, and changes for customer accounts accurately.
• Monitor service performance and identify potential faults or service impacts.
• Liaise with providers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide clear, professional, customer-focused technical support at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions in internal systems.
• Support provisioning, upgrades, and implementation of new telecoms solutions.
• Ensure work complies with company policies and security standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the technical support function.
