Placements24 is seeking an experienced Telecoms Network Operations Manager to oversee the network operations centre in Paarl, Western Cape. You will lead a team of technicians and engineers, drive incident response, and ensure performance, availability, and security of the telecommunications network.

This senior leadership role requires a Bachelor's (Master's preferred), 8+ years in telecom operations, ITIL experience, and proven ability to deliver service improvements while collaborating across

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related; master's preferred.
• 8+ years in telecom network operations; 3+ years in management.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and infrastructure management.
• Experience with ITIL, incident response and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Network Operations team to a high-performance culture.
• Oversee daily network operations ensuring uptime and service quality.
• Develop and implement incident management and problem-solving processes.
• Manage capacity planning, performance monitoring and proactive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate network services.
• Drive adoption of new technologies and process improvements.
