Placements24 is seeking a proactive Lead Telecom Network Administrator to oversee the telecommunications network in Welkom. The role combines technical leadership with strategic planning to ensure reliability and scalability across the organization.

You will lead a team of administrators, drive network upgrades, optimize performance, and enforce security practices in a hybrid work model that supports collaboration for the Welkom team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, CS, or related field required.
• 5+ years in network administration, with 2+ years in lead role.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of network administrators.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of telecom network with high availability.
• Plan and manage network upgrades and new deployments.
• Enforce network security policies and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Oversee monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Serve as escalation point for complex network issues.
